This tent sleeps up to 4 comfortably – it is located within a short walking distance of the bathhouse, is set within tall trees, and has a great view of the woods. 

With glamping all the craze, this luxury tent affords for the luxury of real furniture without the prices of a trip abroad. Guests get much more than just another shelter in nature; this tent is a source of lifelong memories and a sense of nostalgic adventure. Its natural light creates a feeling of spaciousness, warmth, and relaxation while the festive decor will ensure you to have fun on your trip away! Enjoy nature without having to pack all of your stuff! 

This luxury tent is outfitted with a queen bed, full-sized futon, and a kitchen table. Outdoors the deck is home to a charcoal grill, a hammock, tiki torches, and patio furniture. A common gas grill station (tanks provided) is located in the campground). A picnic table and firepit are also furnished. POV has wood swings and hammocks throughout the resort as well. Now included with your rental rate, POV Resort provides Power Stations for each luxury tent – these provide basic electricity for charging phones, laptops, fans, COPD machines, and other low-powered appliances, etc. Ground cover is mulch – no more tracking mud! There is parking for one vehicle with overflow parking available at the bathhouse.

A space heater is also provided (heaters provided in units – bring your own 1 lb propane canisters or buy them in our store – 1 canister should get you through overnight).

Stay in Al Capone’s 1920s Luxury Tent #10 – a replica of the A-frame tents used in the roaring 20’s and 30’s – and perhaps right here at the resort. It is purported the island right off POV’s shore was owned by Al Capone’s doctor, and goons with tommy guns used to patrol its outer shores. Gangsters frequented these parts to hide out and to smuggle booze to major metros in the Prohibition era. It is a perfect getaway for wannabe gangsters on the lam and is the most secluded glamping site of the campgrounds. It is our largest tent and campsite (sleeping 6 comfortably inside the tent) and has the space for a side-car 2-person BYOTent (for a total of 8 sleeping on the campsite total).

Decked out with historic photos and memorabilia of Capone’s time in the Northwoods in the Prohibition era, it has a view off its porch of the woods – no other campsites. This luxury tent is outfitted with a queen bed, a full-sized futon, and a kitchen table. Outdoors the deck is home to a charcoal grill, a hammock, tiki torches, and patio furniture. A common gas grill station (tanks provided) is located in the campground). A picnic table and firepit are also furnished. POV has wood swings and hammocks throughout the resort as well. Now included with your rental rate, POV Resort provides Power Stations for each luxury tent – these provide basic electricity for charging phones, laptops, fans, COPD machines, and other low-powered appliances, etc. Ground cover is mulch – no more tracking mud! There is parking for one vehicle with overflow parking available at the bathhouse.

A space heater is also provided (heaters provided in units – bring your own 1 lb propane canisters or buy them in our store – 1 canister should get you through overnight).

Each cabin comes with a boat slip, and additional boat slips are available to rent.

This 1940s Canadian Luxury Tent #15 is nestled in the forest and sleeps 4 comfortably inside the tent. It is outfitted with a fire ring, a charcoal grill (you don’t have to bring your own!), and picnic table. It has tiki torches and hammocks as well.

Instead of a long drive up to the boundary waters, get away to Canada of yesteryear in this tent – decked out with Canada-camping theme decor and historic tourism posters. With glamping all the craze, this tent affords for the luxury of real furniture without the prices and is nestled in the woods. Guests get much more than just another shelter in nature; these tent will help you create lifelong memories and a sense of romance and adventure. Its fluid lines and natural light creates a feeling of spaciousness, warmth and relaxation.
