We guarantee something for everyone, year-round, at POV Resort! Located within the 650,000 acre Nicolet National Forest, the resort is situated perfectly for enjoying the Northwoods. We curate year-round nature experiences and activities on site.
We’ve got you covered with all of the on-site amenities imaginable, including boat rentals and winter sport rentals. We are located on 15 deeply wooded acres and the shores of the 3,000 acre North Twin Lake – waters with excellent “Class A” Musky, walleye, bass, and panfish fishing. If you are after terrific swimming in the clear waters off our sandy beach, canoeing or kayaking, hiking on on-site trails, snowmobiling, ice fishing, sitting around a crackling campfire…OR just plain old relaxation, POV Resort is the place for you! Your wilderness adventure awaits!
Indoor Play & Necessities
- Rec Room – complete with foosball, pool, retro arcade games, big screen TVs, tons of puzzles, games, books and more!
- On-site General Store (now also doing carry-out and delivery!) with firewood, single-serve alcoholic and N/A beverages (also 12-packs, bottles of wine, etc.), ice, bait, food (frozen, perishable, and pantry), toiletries

Lakefront Amenities
Whether you bring your own boat or rent one of ours you will more than likely find yourself taking advantage of the North Twin Lake by boat for relaxing and fishing. The resort offers a complete docking facility for your boat with slips included with cabin rentals and additional slips available for rent. Launching your boat here at the resort is easy from POV’s on-site boat launch and can accommodate crafts up to 20′ in length. Unleaded gasoline is available on the premises.
High Speed Wifi
We do have high-speed wifi available in the main area of the resort grounds around the cabins. That being said, the resort is about relaxing and enjoying the Northwoods. The password is posted in each cabin, the Rec Room, our reservable private office space, and at various other locations around the resort.
Complimentary Boats
If you didn’t bring a boat with you, no worries!
Canoes, kayaks, water bikes, paddleboats, and paddle boards are available at no charge to all of our guests to enjoy for a relaxing cruise along the shoreline. We have two fishing kayaks added to the mix as well! All non-motorized watercraft are available for guests to use for free at their own risk. Per state regulations guests are to wear life jackets, which are provided also at no-charge in the benches down at the beach. Guests are asked to return all watercraft to the staging area of the rack after use.
There is also a compressor available for you to pump up your rafts and inter tubes.

Spring to Fall
During the spring, summer, and fall months POV Resort is a beautiful wilderness retreat. Walleye and panfish are also plentiful. Crystal clear waters also provide expansive room for POV’s water sports – swimming, tubing, boating, and water skiing as well as canoeing, kayaking, or paddle boarding. Bring your sailboats and wave runners for fun on the crystal clear waters of North Twin Lake. Horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, and on-site trails are just some of the activities offered on-site at the resort’s campus.

Winter
We know how to do this season right, with some of the best winter sports in the nation and where the beauty of the season is unmatched. North Twin Lake is one of the nation’s premiere ice fishing lakes – wintertime jigging in the weed beds produces excellent results. We even have shanty rentals on site! Snowshoeing (POV rentals available!) and cross-country skiing are also easily accessible – enjoy the peaceful serenity of the forest on on-site or nearby designated trails.
POV Resort is also directly on the famous snowmobile trails of the Eagle River area – some of the best-groomed trails in the nation. The resort has access to two well-groomed snowmobile trails off of North Twin Lake – the Conover Sno Buddies Trails (80+ miles) and the Phelps Snowmobile Club Trails (40+ miles). Guests are encouraged to bring their own snowmobiles or have them delivered by a third-party rental service.
