Our top-rated, family-oriented lakeside Wisconsin glamping allows you to time travel through a period-authentic theme without the fuss of actually building a time machine. And, do it while enjoying nature and without having to pack all of your stuff.

SPACE DESCRIPTION: This camper is outfitted with one camper full-sized futon bed and also has a food prep area (no appliances/water). The campsite also has a vintage 1940s luxury tent with a full-size bed with a memory foam mattress and upscale bedding and two cots w/mattresses and luxury bedding. It also has charming 1940s camping decor. For bathroom needs guests use the bathhouse. While it the camper is snug on the inside, we feel its authentic character of the early American camping era more than outweighs the smaller interior. Outdoors is home to a charcoal grill, a hammock, edison lights, a picnic table, and a firepit. A common gas grill station (tanks provided) is located in the campground). POV has wood swings and hammocks throughout the resort as well. This camper also provides basic electricity for charging wall lights, phones, laptops, fans, COPD machines, and other low-powered appliances, etc. A space heater is also provided (heaters provided in units – bring your own 1 lb propane canisters or buy them in our store – 1 canister should get you through overnight). It is purported the island right off POV’s shore was owned by Al Capone’s doctor, and goons with tommy guns used to patrol its outer shores. Gangsters frequented these parts to hide out and to smuggle booze to major metros in the Prohibition era. It is a perfect getaway for wannabe gangsters on the lam and is the most secluded glamping site of the campgrounds. It is our largest tent and campsite (sleeping 6 comfortably inside the tent).

Decked out with historic photos and memorabilia of Capone’s time in the Northwoods in the Prohibition era, it has a view off its porch of the woods – no other campsites. Watch the trees or stars from the covered porch with the firepit aglow. With glamping all the craze, this tent affords for the luxury of real furniture without the prices. Guests get much more than just another shelter in nature; these tent will help you create lifelong memories and a sense of nostalgic adventure. Its fluid lines and natural light creates a feeling of spaciousness, warmth and relaxation.

This luxury tent is outfitted with a queen bed, two full-sized futons, and a kitchen table. Outdoors the deck is home to a charcoal grill, a hammock, tiki torches, two picnic tables, and a firepit. This “bring your own tent” Campsite #11 is located on the edge of our campground and is a lovely spot to easily access the rec building and beach but feel tucked away in nature. Our rates are all-inclusive with our resort amenities complimentary. It fits two tents sleeping up to six persons total. It is outfitted with a fire ring, a charcoal grill (you don’t have to bring your own!), and picnic table. Campsite is a short walk to the lake on the property with kayaks/canoes, tons of yard games/sports, rec bldg, etc! Boat rentals & romance packages available through the checkout process. No pets or hookups.

This “bring your own tent” Campsite #11 is one of our larger campsites. It fits two tents sleeping up to six persons total. It is outfitted with a fire ring, a charcoal grill (you don’t have to bring your own!), and picnic table. A common gas grill station (tanks provided) is located in the campground). It has tiki torches and a hammock as well.

There is parking available for one car at the site and one car in overflow parking at the bathhouse. A water station is available at the bathhouse. The layout of each site has been meticulously placed and groomed to utilize the natural landscape and ground cover (mulch – no more tracking mud!). This site fits *SMALL* campers 25′ in length or less – including the hitch – depending on the size of your camper you may need to park your vehicle nearby in overflow parking by the bathhouse.

Decked out with historic photos and memorabilia of Baby Face’s time in the Northwoods in the Prohibition era, it is surrounded by the woods. Watch the trees or stars from the covered porch with the firepit aglow. With glamping all the craze, this tent affords for the luxury of real furniture without the prices. Guests get much more than just another shelter in nature; these tent will help you create lifelong memories and a sense of romance and adventure. Its fluid lines and natural light creates a feeling of spaciousness, warmth and relaxation.

This luxury tent is outfitted with a queen bed, a full-sized futon, and a kitchen table. Outdoors the deck is home to a charcoal grill, a hammock, tiki torches, a picnic table, and a firepit. A common gas grill station (tanks provided) is located in the campground). A picnic table and firepit are also furnished. POV has wood swings and hammocks throughout the resort as well. Now included with your rental rate, POV Resort provides Power Stations for each luxury tent – these provide basic electricity for charging phones, laptops, fans, COPD machines, and other low-powered appliances, etc. Ground cover is mulch – no more tracking mud! There is parking for one vehicle with overflow parking available at the bathhouse.

A space heater is also provided (heaters provided in units – bring your own 1 lb propane canisters or buy them in our store – 1 canister should get you through overnight).
